Parma, July 19, 2012 – A few days after the Super Bowl, the Italy Football League (IFL) has changed some rules for next season.
First of all, every club will be able to have three foreign / American / imported players in the sideline, but only two of them will be able to be on the field at the same time. These players will have a prominent "A" on the helmet to be instantly recognizable by the referees, opponents and spectators. In addition, these athletes won't be able to be used during kick-off and kick-off returns.
It was also decided to postpone the All-Star Game to the day following the Super Bowl.
