The "Giuseppe Berselli" memorial will be held this week-end in Moletolo

Parma, November 12, 2010 – The first "Giuseppe Berselli" Memorial will be held this Sunday, in the sports center of Moletolo, from 10am CET to 4pm CET. It will be a Bowl for Under 18 and Under 15, 5 vs 5, tackle football teams. Bolzano, Reggio, Massa, Pesaro and Bologna will be the other participants teams.

WHO WAS GIUSEPPE BERSELLI

Giuseppe Berselli approached the American Football through his son Giacomo, who wore the Panthers uniform for the first time in 1980, becoming the backbone of the defense. He became the Panthers president (1986-1989) and brought to Parma two high level players such as Tom Bernardo (linebacker) and John Tagliaferri (running back). He passed away in January 2007.
