2007 Super Bowl: Panthers Parma vs Lions Bergamo 49 – 55. One of the best Super Bowl ever. The Panthers had the lead for almost the entire game, but lost the game in a dramatic finish, after two overtime periods. John Grisham attended the game and officialized his "Playing for Pizza" novel. Panters CB Aristide De Pascalis and WR Marco Tunnera were name Most Valuable Players of the season. QB Mike Souza was the Super Bowl MVP (tied with with Lions QB Donald Allen Jr).

2006 Super Bowl: Panthers Parma vs Lions Bergamo 12 – 24. The first Super Bowl appearance for the Panthers. At the begin of the season no one thought the Panthers could reach the Super Bowl, but the team coached by Bill Piner showed a lot of heart during the whole season, reaching the first Super Bowl of its history.
