Efaf Cup semifinal: the Panthers cannot reach the final, losing 40 to 21 in Chur.

Chur, June 5, 2010 – The Panthers lost 40 to 21 in Switzerland and are eliminated from the Efaf Cup.

The Broncos scored first with a run of QB Glavic: 13 yards for the 7 to 0.
Parma answered in the following drive, with a short run of Papoccia (7-7).
Then both offenses stalled a little, with a couple of punts exchange.
Parma took the lead (14-7) just inside the 2 minutes warning, with a 61 yards pass from Craddock to McIntyre.
The home team tried to tied the game before the half-time, but Panther DB Marco Tunnera picked off Sasha Glavic and Parma went to the locker room up by 7.

In the opening drive of the third Quarter, Joe Craddock was intercepted by Bronco Hammer.
Calanda then tied the game when QB Glavic, on a 4th down, scored from 25 yards out. Minutes later Glavic added on more touchdown, with a 4 yards run; the ensuing extrapoint was blocked by Papoccia, leaving a 6 points lead to the Broncos.
In the fourth quarter Parma tried to cut the deficit to 3 points with a field goal, but Vergazzoli missed a 32 yarder.
The home team increase its lead with a short run of Greg Jones (27 to 14), but Parma answered back with a 31 yards TD reception of McIntyre (27 to 21).
The Broncos then opted for a time consuming drive, capped off by a 10 yd TD run of Jones (34-21).
Parma tried a desperate comeback, but the game was finally over when Bronco Robinson picked off a pass in the end zone and returned it for 100 yards and 6 points (40 to 21).
