Easy win in Ancona for the Panthers

Ancona, May 22, 2010 – Easy win in Ancona for the Panthers, 55 to 13. But Parma virtually closed the game after just one quarter of play, going up 28 to 0.

On the first play from the scrimmage, QB Craddock hit WR McIntyre with a 60 yd TD pass. A couple of minutes later, Craddock threw his second TD of the day, a 15-yarder to WR Diaferia. Then, before the quarter was over, Craddock connected with Diaferia (6 yd) and McIntyre (30 yd) for two more touchdown passes.

Ancona tried to come back in the second period with a reception of Persing, cutting the deficit to 28 to 6. But Craddock answered back with his fifth TD of the day, a 40 yd pass to McIntyre. Then Gasparri added one more score, with a 60 yd run, and the Panthers went to the half time with a 42 to 6 lead.

With the game fully under control, in the second half HC Papoccia rested the starters.
The Dolphins scored their second and last TD of the day (a 40 yd run of Marchini) and the Panthers added two more TDs, with the runs of QB Monardi (30 yd) and RB Lanforti (5 yd). Then, with the mercy rule enforced, the game quickly reached its end.

So, with just one game left in the regular season, the Panthers are still undefeated.
