Parma win the season opener.
Parma, October 6, 2009 – Nice start for the Parma Panthers Under 21 team. In the season opener, Parma defeat the Milan Rhinos 40-0.
"We capitalized every single chance we had, but we showed some imperfections too. Anyway, we broke the ice: this is what it matters." - said Head Coach Borchini.
Quick striking abilities and the passing game were the main weapons for Parma.
WR Matteo Grigolo, RB Drago and QB Monardi put Parma on the boad 3 times. At the end of the first half, the Panthers were up 20 to 0.
In the second half, Parma added 20 more points, with WRs Marastoni and Grigolo and RB Malpeli.
