The Panthers Under 21 team will play its first game this Sunday, October 4, in Moletolo (Parma). Kick-off 3.30pm CET.

Sunday, October 4, the Parma Panthers Under 21 team will play its first game of the season, in the "College" League. Their opponents will be the Milano Rhinos. Kick-off 3.30pm CET in Moletolo (Parma).

The team is build around a group of players which already won the Under 15, Under 17 and Under 18 championship (in 2006, 2007 and 2008). The leaders will be QB Tommaso Monardi and DE Michele Canali: despite their young age, both of them already played in the Italian National Team in the European Championship.

The head coach, Paolo Borchini, is a former player (European Champion in 1987) with already 20 season under his belt as a coach. The other members of the coaching staff will be Giampaolo Zardin (Defensive Coordinator), David Montaresi (DB coach), Giovanni Rossi (QB/WR coach) and Renato Tedeschi (Linemen coach).

Injury report: C Erik Pasini and WRs Luca Aurilio and Fabio Cavagni won't be able to play.
