The Panthers 2016 season ends in Bolzano
Parma, 27 giugno 2016 – The Panthers lost the semifinal against the Bolzano Giants with a score of 20 to 30, with the offense team that suffered 6 interceptions by the opposite team.
Parma will not play the Italian Bowl after six consecutive years.
“We have nothing to regret on this game. They played better than us and won deservedly.
After six years of Italian Bowls, this season may be seen as a failure. But we lost a semifinal, a game that we played and won for 11 years.
I am proud of my players that didn't give up and played with honesty and dignity even if the game was already gone” said president Ivano Tira after the game.
