PARMA PANTHERS VS BERGAMO LIONS 10-7 |
With a field goal on the very last play, the Panthers won against the Lions
Parma, March 30, 2015 – The expectations on this game were founded: the match between Parma and Bergamo was very tough, with two solid defense that didn't allow almost any play.
The Panthers went on the scoreboard on the second quarter with a 18 yard run of Malpeli Avalli and went to the half-time up to 7-0. The Panthers then missed two field goals to increase their lead.
With a couple of minutes left in the game, the Lions tied the score with a 2 yard reception of Podavitte. Then Parma engineered a game winning drive ended with a 22 yard field goal by Diaferia as the time expired.
The Panthers proceed their regular season with a record of 3-1, and with an injury list increasingly copious: in fact from the beginning of the third quarter DL Michele Canali was out for the game.
