For the Panthers the 5th championship title has to be postponed
Ferrara, July 6, 2014 – The Panthers lost the XXXIV Italian Super Bowl against the Milan Seamen with the score of 3 to 33.
It was a difficult game since the beginning for the Panthers, who couldn't stop the Milan offense, that in the first quarter went on the scoreboard with two touchdowns.
Panther Diaferia returned the kick-off at SEA29 and that seems to be the right way for the come back. Unfortunately, the offense wasn't able to capitalize the good field position and Parma was forced to kick a field goal (14-3). With another time consuming drive (there were only 5 drives in the first half), the Seamen increased their lead to 21-3 just before the half-time.
In the second half of the game the Panthers were totally confused, the offense was unable to move the chains and the defense didn't find a way to stop the Seamen diamond offense (installed in the last couple of weeks).
Milan increased the lead with another pair of TDs for the final score of 3 to 33, winning the 2014 Italian title.
