Wolsfberg, August 22, 2009 - In the 3rd-4th place final of the European Championship against Czech Republic, Panthers QB Tommaso Monardi took the helm of the Italian Team, replacing the Italian-American starter QB Sergio Fuca.
With just one quarter left in the game, Monardi showed some great numbers, with an impressive 8/8, 2 TD passes and about 20yd gained on the ground by himself.

Unfortunately, his performance wasn't enough to win the game, since the game was already compromise.
