National Team training camp in Parma: a lot of satisfation for the Panthers.

Parma, July 15, 2009 - Last week-end, the Panthers hosted the Italian National Team. It was the first training camp for the National Team, that this summer (August 14-23) will play the European Championship in Wolfsberg (Austria).

Between the 60 athletes selected for National Team, there were three Panthers: OL Tommaso Antonetti (32 y.o.), DE Michele Canali (19 y.o.) and QB Tommaso Monardi (19 y.o.).

The training camp started early in the morning, with video sessions, physical examinations and then some football activities.

Next training camps will be on July 19 (in La Spezia) and on July 25 (in Bolzano). Then Head Coach Brock Olivo will made some cuts on the roster: only 45 players will made the team for the European Championship.
