Arena League: In the Wild Card Game, the Parma Pantere slammed the Padova Saints 33-8.

Parma, June 13, 2009 - The Saints had a good start, driving all the way downfield and took the lead after a long drive. The Pantere struck back immediately and tied the game with their elusive running back Alessandro Malpeli. Parma then scored another touchdown with a spectacular connection between Monardi and Aurilio.

After the half-time, the Pantere dominated the game, with an impressive defensive unit and an explosive offense, who scored 3 more TDs with Luca Aurilio, Alessandro Malpeli and Christian Kouame.

Next Saturday, the Pantere will host the winner of the game between Bolzano Giganti and Massa Drunken Irishmen.
