The Panthers defeated the Warriors and clinched a play-off spot.

Bologna, May 23, 2009 – In the last regular season game the Parma Panthers defeated the Bologna Warriors 56 - 42 and clinched a play-off spot. It was a high scoring game dominated by the air attacks: Craddock and McIntyre for the Panthers, Meyer and Parlangeli for the Warriors. The first two resulted to be the best tandem as they lead the Panthers to the victory.

Despite a great offense, the defense struggled, but Ryan Tully showed a lot of heart playing sideline to sideline and with a couple of key plays helped the defense to stop the Warriors offense.

The Panthers allowed a TD on the first Warriors possession, but responded quickly, scoring with a run of Ryan Tully.

A couple of TDs scored by Craddock-McIntyre for the Panthers and by Meyer-Parlangeli for the Warriors made the score 21-21.

With just one minute to go in the first half, Ryan Tully scored his second TD of the day, but just a couple of seconds later the Warriors tied the game. At the half time the score was 28-28.

The second half started with a big play, with a 50 yard pass from Craddock to McIntyre that lead to the 35-28 TD.

The Warriors tried to stay in the game, scoring with another TD pass. But the Panthers took the lead with another Craddock-McIntyre connection and then extend the gap with another Craddock-McIntyre TD. Ryan Tully then sealed the win scoring his 11th TD of the year.
