The Panthers need a win to clinch a play-off spot

Parma, May 22, 2009 - Tomorrow evening, the Panthers will play in Bologna against the Warriors for their last regular season game. Parma needs a win to clinch a play-off spot. With a loss, the Panthers will know their destiny only on May 30, when the game between the Bolzano Giants and the Ancona Dolphins will take place.

"Now we have our destiny in our hands" - said team President Ivano Tira - "We lost our 3 last games because our offense was out of rhythm and scored less points than usual. In Bologna, if we want a win, our offense must be explosive and score at least 35 points".

The last 2 meetings against the Warriors resulted in 2 Panthers success: both times Parma won with a last second TD.
