On Saturday, May 9, the FIDAF (Italian Federation for American Football) president, Hon. Leoluca Orlando, met the Panthers at the end of the Flag Football Championship, during the award ceremony.
In addition, the Head Coach of the Italian Team (Brock Olivo) and Parma councillor (Roberto Ghiretti) attended the ceremony.

Just a couple of hours before the ceremony, Orlando and the FIDAF counsel decided that the Italian Team will partecipate to the European Championship in Austria (15-22 August 2009).
