A BUSY SATURDAY

This Saturday, for one day, Parma will be the Italian capital of Football.


On Saturday May 9, for one day, Parma will be the Italian capital of Football. The Panthers, in fact, will host a lot of football-related events.

Starting from 10.00 am it will take place the Italian Flag Football Championship for secondary schools. More than 100 kids from the following 8 schools will partecipate: Manzoni from Traversetolo (Parma), Scuola per l'Europa from Parma, G.Perlasca from Padova, Cardarelli from Milan, Betteloni from Verona, Fontanesi from Reggio Emilia and Mercuriale from Forlì.

At 4.00pm it will be Tackle Football time, with the friendly game between the Under 16 teams of Parma Panthers and Bologna Warriors. At the same time, there will be a flag football tournament for primary schools.

In addition, on Saturday, Parma will host the F.I.D.A.F. (Italian Federation for American Football) counsel, with the presence of Hon. Leoluca Orlando, the current FIDAF president.

The last event of Saturday will be the Meeting of Youth Sector Managers, with more then 30 teams attending the meeting.

Tackle Football
4.00pm – Parma Panthers vs Bologna Warriors, Under 16 friendly game – Flag Football tournament for primary schools
