IFL: WEEK 10 PREVIEW

A road game in Catania, with the Panthers in need of a win to reach the play-offs.

Parma, May 5, 2009 - With only 2 games left in the regular season, this Sunday the Panthers will play in Catania against the Elephants (kick-off at 3.00pm CET).

After this week, Parma will face the Warriors, in Bologna, on May 20. "Even if we'll have another chance in Bologna" - said Panthers President Ivano Tira - "we need a win this Sunday to understand if we still are the competitive team seen early this season".

The Elephants, with a record of 1-5, fill the last spot of the IFL League, but this Sunday won't be an easy game, with the Panthers coming to Catania after the worst performance of the season: a tought loss at home against the Milan Rhinos, with Parma showing a lack of concentration and a wrong approach to the game.

"The last week bye came at the right time" - said Tira - "We spent this time trying to stick together and find the cohesion we lost the last couple of games. Now we need a win in Catania: it'll boost our morale for the finishing of the season".

In Catania, Coach Papoccia should be able to line-up WRs Matteo Grigolo and Marco Tunnera, CB Nicola Francani and RB Maxim Bulgac, out the last game with an injury.
