The Panthers win a tough game with a last second field goal nailed by Emanuele Gavesi.

If you need to tell someone about the beauty of football, you can just show him the film of the match between Parma Panthers and Bolzano Giants, played in the amazing Europa Stadium in Bolzano: a really tough match finished with a game winning field goal scored by Gavesi as the time expired.

The Giants lost their main threat, HB Reggie Green, in the 1st half due to an injury. Anyway the Giants didn't give up and, despite a whole game trailing Parma, they took the lead with a 2 points conversion with just 10 seconds left in the game.
Bolzano fans and players were already celebrating the win as they tought the game was finished.
But Parma reaction was almost unbelievable and with a deep pass from QB Joe Craddock to WR/K Emanuele Gavesi moved the ball to the Giants 10 yd line, with just 3 ticks left on the clock.
The field goal unit took the field with the WR/K Gavesi limping after his last catch, adding more pathos to the try.
The kicker anyway was able to line-up and nailed the 27 yd field goal, becoming the hero of the game.

With this win, Parma improves it record to 5-1, taking the lead of the IFL league.
