Tony Bell and Kris Durham
Parma, March 4, 2017 – Few hours before the start of the 2017 season let's discover the two new import players arrived in Parma:
TONY BELL - LB - UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE MARTIN SKYHAWK
A sportive guy from Menphis, All America in 2013 and 2014, he will wear the Panthers jersey #2. Here are his college stats: 237 total tackles , 45 for loss, 22,5 sacks , 7 forced fumbles and 6 fumble recover.
In 2014 Bell was among the finalists of the Buck Buchanan Award, an important prize that awards the best defensive player of the I-AA division (won by Kyle Emanuel, Chargers LB).
In 2015 Tony was signed by the Cincinnati Bengals, then was cut before the beginning of the season.
KRIS DURHAM - WR - UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA BULLDOGS
Kris is the first import player in Italy that really has an NFL curriculum.
He played four years with the Bulldogs, where he played with Matthew Stafford (Detroit Lions QB). In the 2011 NFL draft was selected as the 107th overall pick by the Seattle Seahawks and he signed a deal for four years; he played in three regular season games.
Cut at the end of the season, signed with the Detroit Lions, playing with the college friend QB and scoring his first TD as a professional player against the Chicago Bears.
The 2013 is his great season, playing all the 16 games of the regular season, scoring 2 TDs and 38 receptions for 490 yards, stats that confirm Kris best receiver of the team behind Calvin Johnson.
Despite this, the Lions decided to cut him at the end of the season. So Kris signed before with the Tennessee Titans and then with the Oakland Raiders, but he has never beeh activated.
