Scandiano - Good start for Parma Panthers, winning the season opener in Reggio Emilia, against the Hogs, with the score of 27-20.
In the first half of the match, Panthers offense leaded by QB Joe Craddock played very well and took a 20 points lead. Craddock, on his first IFL game, connected repeatedly with Panthers receivers McIntyre, Gavesi and Matteo Grigolo, a rookie that played an impressive game.
In the second half, Parma suffered Hogs ground attack and Reggio Emilia cuts the deficit to 6 points. But in the fourth quarter, Ryan Tully secured the win, scoring a TD run.
Next weekend, Panthers will face a tough game against Bergamo Lions, the Italian Champions. Today Bergamo lost 31-13 against Giants Bolzano.
